WELCOME TO THE EDTECH COLLECTIVE
OUR VISION AND MISSION
The EdTech Collective exists to support teachers in locating helpful resources. At our beginning stages, we have compiled a list of core resources ranging from Digital Tools to Digital Spaces to Social Media platforms - all with the intent of supporting the educator community. We see the future of this collective as a space where educators can add to the collective and share helpful tips they have learned on their journey. Our current goal is to support K-12 educators in overcoming their worries about using technology in the classroom. We hope that by exploring our website, you will find tips and resources that complement your teaching practice and empower you to harness digital tools that will help your students in their learning. OUR STORY
Hello All!
We are the EdTech Collective. Compiled of five female educators and OISE students, the EdTech Collective’s mission is to make online education resources more accessible to fellow educators. Each of us has a passion for education and holistic learning that can be enhanced by computer technology. Though we have worked together to create this project, each of us brings something unique to the collective.Â

LINDA KWAN
Hello! I am currently in the M.Ed. program in Language and Literacies Education at OISE. I am interested in social justice in literacy, early years, literacy intervention, and TESL. In my leisure time, I am learning to speak Cantonese, go on walks/hikes with friends, draw pictures of animals, and sing in a choir.
JUDITH WEIST
Hi! I am a M.Ed student in Curriculum and Pedagogy at OISE. I also work as a middle school teacher. I love learning from my colleagues and peers, and I am so happy to be sharing some of the tech tools that have been shared with me over the last five years of my career. When I’m not in the classroom you’ll find me playing Ultimate Frisbee and spending time outdoors in beautiful British Columbia.

LAUREN FEMSON
Hello! I am a current M.Ed. candidate in the Curriculum and Pedagogy program at OISE. Before embarking on my learning journey at OISE I completed a Bachelor of Arts - Honours Specialization in Media, Information and Technoculture. With a passion for technology and education combined I am interested in digital technologies and arts in education. Outside of the academic setting, I enjoy going for trails walks with my puppy, and spending quality time with friends and family. Thanks for visiting the EdTech Collective!

Hi everyone, this is Chuqing! I am currently completing my Master of Education emphasizing in Digital Technologies and Education at University of Toronto, OISE. I'm interested in the field of LMS management and E-learning content development. MIKAYLA RAYNE SERRATORE
Hello EdTech Collective Friends! I am currently in the Social Justice Education program working towards my Master of Education at OISE. I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Toronto with a major in Criminology and Socio-Legal Studies and a double minor in Sociology and Italian. Navigating the integration of online learning and new uses of technology can be daunting. I am excited to help others through this technology rollercoaster in order to overcome any fears and anxieties so we all can simply enjoy the ride! Outside of school and work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends as well as gardening and spending as much time as possible outside during the summer months.
